John Enslin is a Jesuit priest, who has worked in various pastoral settings (parishes and chaplaincies). He has worked in both Johannesburg and Cape Town. After completing the final part of his Jesuit formation in Bikfaya, Lebanon, he moved to Harare, Zimbabwe, where he works as a formator and philosophy teacher at the Arrupe Jesuit University. Here, he works mostly with younger Jesuits as they prepare for theology studies.
Lorraine Groenewald is a Spiritual Director trained by JISA. She was introduced to Ignatian Spirituality, by late Fr Andrew Norton and Trevor Hudson, in 1994. Started guiding retreats in daily life, weekend retreats and Days of reflection from 1996. From 2003 had various trainings as Giver of the Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola and as Spiritual director to give ongoing Spiritual Accompaniment. Been journeying with people for 30 years, as Spiritual Director, leading retreats for priests and laity, in various ways. 4, 8, 30, day retreats, weekend retreats, accompanying many people wanting to make the Sp Ex of St Ignatius over this time. Stayed with Piet her husband, an ecumenical retreat center, Mohale rest and retreat in Pta North. Currently staying at Hephzibah, from where she continues this retreat ministry.
Jesus invites us to pause, withdraw from crowds, and rest awhile. Away from our normal busy lives. Sit at his feet, listen to Him, speak heart to heart with him, in this beautiful part of his creation, at Hephzibah.
Remember this is a Silent retreat. On the day of arrival we will have a Talking supper, after which the Opening session follows. At the end of the opening session, we enter into Silence. On the morning the retreat ends, we come out of Silence before Breakfast, and then share in a Talking Breakfast.

This includes daily Spiritual accompaniment session with either John or Lorraine, all meals and accommodation, for these 8 days. We will have daily Mass as well as a reflective space as a group together each evening.
Deposit of R2500 will secure your place.
